The Amazon Files, hosted by Kristin Ostrander, Amazon business strategist and one of the founders of Mommy Income, hits the airwaves every Tuesday with the real truth about selling on Amazon. Michelle Butler is a mom and wife who quit her day job of 22 years to start her own Amazon business. She used to work in senior management for a large company before she took the plunge to be a full-time Amazon business owner. Today, she lives in Orlando, Florida with her family - watching her child grow - and spending as much time as she wants with them.

Michelle joins us on this episode to share what urged her to finally give up her day job to be a full-time Amazon business owner. She shares why “prepare” is the keyword to her success story, and a few unfortunate wholesale experiences she’s had that drove her to take wholesale classes and workshops. She also shares her must-have tools in the business as well as the educational resources she cannot do without as she established the foundation of her business.

“Everybody’s got different circumstances, so you really have to evaluate your circumstances, and what works for you, and what works for your family. This is a business model that works. Take the time to learn everything you can.” - Michelle Butler
