This show isn’t about sugar-coated reality. It’s real truth - the good, the bad and the ugly - shared with practical action steps and strategies to help both new and experienced sellers tackle the world’s largest retail sales platform.

Dec 24, 2018

With 2018 coming to an end, many Amazon business owners will be taking the time to reflect on the past year. Every entrepreneur experiences business successes and failures, and reflecting on failures can often be difficult. Some Amazon sellers will find it hard to know where to start when reviewing their yearly goals and accomplishments. It can be challenging to decide on the questions you should ask yourself, and you may not even understand why it’s important to reflect on your ‘wins’ and ‘losses’.

Today, we share how you can reflect on the past year in your Amazon business. We explain why it’s important to reflect on your successes and failures and how this reflection process can help you make predictions and projections for the upcoming year. We also share strategies for setting new goals for 2019 and explain how your mindset going into the new year can impact your success.

This week on the Amazon Files:

  • Why you should reflect on the last year and praise yourself for your wins while ignoring the comparison game of comparing yourself to other Amazon business owners.
  • Why you should reflect on what didn’t go well and turn these things into a learning experience or a pivot for your business.
  • How to work through the worst thing that happened to you last year, consider why it happened, and take steps to avoid it from happening again.
  • How to look forward into the new year and create a projection based on the positive experiences you had and the things that set your soul on fire.
  • How to decide on the next business step you should take over the coming three months,
  • How to free up the time to achieve your goal and take small steps.
  • How to uncover the reasons why things didn’t go well, being honest, and giving yourself the opportunity to heal, learn and improve.
  • Why you should consider what is holding you back in business.
  • How to change your mindset and take ‘I can’t’ out of your vocabulary.
